(a) This policy applies to all personal information collected by Omni Packaging NZ Ltd (NZBN 9429053448378) (we, us or our) via the website located at www.omnigroup.co.nz (Website) and in the course of providing our products and services.
(b) Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the privacy principles (Privacy Principles) set out in the Privacy Act 2020 (Privacy Act).
(c) This policy outlines how and when we collect, process, use, share, store, disclose, alter and destroy your personal information and applies to all personal information we collect through:
(i) the Website; and
(ii) our products and services.
(d) This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the Website or otherwise providing Personal Information to us, you consent to the collection and use of such information by us and our agents in accordance with this privacy policy.

- What personal information do we collect?

(i) name, address phone number and email address;
(ii) information about the products or services you order or enquire about, including how the products or services are used;
(iii) Website login credentials;

(a) We will not use or disclose your personal information except in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act.

(i) provide you with our products or services, or the Website;
(ii) provide you with the best service experience possible on the Website and keep in touch with you about developments in our business;
(iii) improve, develop and manage our products, services and the Website;
(iv) operate, maintain, test and upgrade our systems;

- Data Security, Retention and Breach Notification
(a) We store your Personal Information in a way that reasonably protects it from unauthorised access, misuse, modification or disclosure.
(b) The length of time we keep Personal Information depends on the nature of the information and whether we have an ongoing business need to retain it. (b) Any revised policy will be posted on our Website and will be effective from the time of posting.
(c) Your continued use of our products, services or the Website following the posting of any revised policy indicates your acceptance of the changes to this policy.

- Complaint procedure
If you have a complaint concerning the manner in which we maintain the privacy of your Personal Information, please contact us our Privacy Officer. All complaints will be considered by our Privacy Officer and we may seek further information from you to clarify your concerns. We will use reasonable endeavours to respond to your request as soon as reasonably practicable. If we agree that your complaint is well founded, we will, in consultation with you, take appropriate steps to rectify the problem. If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at https://www.privacy.org.nz/about-us/contact/.
- Documentation and Response Timeline
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 7 business days and provide you with a reference number. Our Privacy Officer will investigate your complaint and maintain detailed records of all communications and findings. We aim to resolve all privacy complaints within 28 business days. If additional time is required, we will notify you in writing. All complaint documentation will be retained for 12 months following resolution.
- Overseas transfer Your Personal Information will not be disclosed to recipients outside New Zealand, except to the extent it is made available internally to our affiliates and related companies in Australia (including Omni Packaging Pty Ltd (ACN 609 971 717)), or unless you expressly request us to do so.
In circumstances where we need to disclose or transfer your Personal Information to third parties and service providers located outside of New Zealand, we will only disclose Personal Information overseas if:
- We believe on reasonable grounds that the overseas recipient is required to protect the information in a way that, overall, provides comparable safeguards to those we are bound by; or
- We believe on reasonable grounds that the overseas recipient will adequately protect the information, e.g. by using model contract clauses; or

- The individual concerned authorises the disclosure after being expressly informed that the overseas recipient may not be required to protect the information in a way that, overall, provides comparable safeguards to those we are bound by; or
- We otherwise have a legal basis to do so.
If you request us to transfer your Personal Information to an overseas recipient where the overseas recipient is not be required to comply with the Privacy Principles, we will not be liable for any mishandling of your information by such recipient.
