VentX Unico Ventilated Machine Stretch Pallet Wrap 3 x 150mm x 1200m x 25um

Omni Group’s VentX Unico™ system is the world’s most innovative, effective, and eco-friendly ventilated pallet wrapping method. This award-winning solution guarantees optimum ventilation and superior load containment while halving plastic usage.

This method of pallet load ventilation uses narrow bands of stretch film that wrap around the load rather than regular 500mm wide-stretch film with holes in it. The VentX Unico™ film is separated into three rolls that are 20mm apart on the 1 continuous core. These three bands of the film are dispensed through the VentX Unico device on the Omni pallet wrapping machine, creating the ventilated pallet wrapping film.

The three sets of roping fingers of this mechanism are adjustable, allowing the bands of film to be set at varied widths. Adjusting the width of the stretch wrap bands allows the containment force to be modified to suit each type of pallet load. For heavy and unstable pallet loads, the width between ropers can be reduced to create narrower bands of film. This acts as a strong cable around the pallet, providing optimum holding force around the load while still allowing excellent load ventilation. As a result of this unique patented design, the bands of pallet wrapping film are stronger and more reliable, providing consistent release and eliminating all breakages. This feature also solves the problem of stretch wrap tails at the end of the wrapping cycle. VentX Unico™ pallet wrapping film is available in 20 and 25um grades to suit different load types and applications.

The VentX Unico™ Ventilated Pallet Wrapping Solution is the perfect alternative to the conventional 30-um ventilated wrap. The VentX method uses less than half the plastic, significantly reduces wrapping costs, and improves load ventilation and containment. To achieve sufficient containment of the pallet load with regular ventilated film, more rotations around the pallet are required. This means that by the time the pallet is wrapped sufficiently for that load, the holes in the ventilated wrap are almost completely covered, restricting the ability of the load to breathe. Whereas the VentX Unico method with three bands of the film provides much greater load aeration compared to the small holes in a ventilated wrap that are more restrictive to airflow.

  stretch wrap acts as an insulation for the load.
